Walmart's $4 Prescriptions Save Money!

I'm not kidding when I say you can save a bundle on prescriptions and over the counter medications. It doesn't cost a thing to transfer your prescriptions here and, best of all, you save time and money. You can even take advantage of ordering online, for certain generic drugs, which will save you a lot of hassle.

They even have a home delivery service (by mail) for certain prescriptions and there is no membership required. They offer the service FREE of charge, though there may be restrictions on certain drugs.

Another great advantage of the Walmart Prescription Program is that it's divided into two separate savings categories: 30 day prescriptions for $4 and 90 day prescriptions for $10. This does not apply to all medications, but it's the best way I know to come out ahead when you don't have insurance to cover your prescriptions.

I never thought I'd end up at Walmart Pharmacy until I lost my insurance coverage. It's been a life-saver for me. Don't be shy to ask your doctor to prescribe the drugs that are available on the $4 plan. Most physicians are glad to do so.

What Medications Are Covered Under The Walmart $4 Prescription Program?

So what's covered under this "too good to be true" program? I can tell you that the program is limited to generic drugs only, but there is no difference, in my opinion. I'm going to list a few of the drugs covered under this program below.

You May Want To Consider Making A Change

What I like about doing business with Walmart pharmacy is that I can phone in my prescription electronically. They will notify me by text message when my order is ready, usually within 24 hours. Yes, I know. Walmart pharmacy is always busy. Waiting in long lines is normal. But with the online ordering program available, it can be a lot more convenient.

So if you want to save a great deal of money on your prescription drugs, I'd suggest the Walmart Pharmacy Prescription Drug program.

I think the Walmart $4 program and similar programs at other providers have allowed a lot more people to take their prescription medications as ordered by their health care providers and are an invaluable asset. Thanks for a great hub.

Thank you for taking the time to think of people and their needs.

I have heard a little about this program but didn't know about the mail order part. This could be very useful for those that do not drive.

Nice hub with useful information. I really hate how some Rx companies charge an absolute ridiculous amount for certain meds.
